THE CORN ISLANDS IN NICARAGUA

The Corn Islands are two small islands -Little Corn Island and Big Corn Island- about 70 km east off the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.

With turquoise seas, palm tree lined beaches and great fishing, diving and snorkeling.

To get to The Corn Islands is a 45 mins flight from Managua followed by a short- but often bumpy- panga ride to Little Corn Island.

HOTELS ON THE CORN ISLANDS

Hotel accommodation on The Corn Islands is basic. A mix of cabinas and small scale hotels.

On Big Corn Iland Arenas is a good bet, on Little Corn Island, Casa Iguana overlooks one of the nicest beaches in The Corn Islands.

LITTLE CORN ISLAND

BIG CORN ISLAND

Big Corn Island, as its name suggests, is the bigger of the two Corn Islands.

The island has more nighlife and facilities than Little Corn Islands but the beaches aren't as nice!

However on the south of Corn Island, both Long Bay and South West bay are almost deserted and beautiful!
